Travel and Directions

Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from The University
of British Columbia.
 
Participants must arrive for registration at 9am on April 21st. Please plan accordingly. 

We recommend using public transportation for getting from Vancouver International Airport
(YVR) to UBC, as taxis can be expensive ($40 CAD).

• From the airport take the Canada Line (metro) Waterfront train to Broadway/City Hall
Station. Exit on Broadway.
• Across the street pick up the 99 bus (in front of Whole Foods and Lululemon). Take the
99 to the final stop (UBC Loop).

• For those of you staying at the Carey Centre, it is a short (<5 min) walk from the bus
stop.
